Now the wait for Indians is over, Finally Acer has unveiled its Smart Phone in India also. Acer Liquid comes with a 1GHz Snapdragon Processor, Android 1.6 Operating System, 3.5 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen, 480 x 800 pixels resolution, 5 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Other features includes a Acer Homebrew UI, 3.5 mm audio jack, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, VGA video recording, 32 GB expandable memory, 1350 mAh battery and upto 5 hours of talktime.
It can even integrate Facebook, Twitter and Flickr contacts in the address book. The device has three homescreen that allows you customize it with different widgets. It also comes with Microsoft Outlook application and Exchange server support. This handset is available in three colors – red, white and black. Design
The Acer Liquid is a recent launched device, whose display type is TFT, capacitive touchscreen, which is supportive for 65K colors. The size of the phone is of 3.5 inches capable of capturing a decent amount of pixellete area up to 480 x 800 pixels. The device also has a handful of advanced features such as Acer UI 3.0, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off. The weight of the handset is 135 g which makes it a heavy, abundant handset while the dimensions of the phone which are in the figures of 115 x 62.5 x 12.5 mm making it a over-sized handset which might create some problem specially amongst female segment to carry this highly priced gimmick. The Acer Liquid is available in three vibrant colors viz Black, White and Red. The best part about the design of the device is that it is not complicated and above all the sheen which it shows of to people is a good one to attract people and the huge, large display screen that the device has really fetch people to at least give it a try.

This gadget with a heavy price tag does not live upto the expectations of people in context of music as it does not have FM Radio which creates a feeling of disappointment specially in the youth.
